Back playing after a couple of weeks off (real life caught up, LOL.) My Geneticist friend gave me a new belt and a green petite earlier, helping me get 84/46 tonight.
Wonder where this toon should spend 10 unused skill points…
Crusader at 81/42 leveling at Glast Heim now. Picked up a Wraith Card early, but leveling slowly due to me having fun with my Hunter build back at Valk.
This map is virtually empty; the most other toons I’ve seen so far was a soloing priest and blacksmith, on two occasions.
Hunting goats (and the occasional geographer) near Juno. Leveling slowed down a bit as the severs have become victims of a denial-of-service attack that’s gotten more severe this weekend; didn’t hamper me to get my new Archer in Valk turn into a Hunter though ;)
Amusing myself currently via forum banter and Kingdom of Loathing; you gotta love them QQ-ers LOL…
Hit 70/30 at Orcs, moving to hunt goats and geographers near Juno (both for EXP and for blue herbs, the latter being very expensive in Ymir.) My gears now are gifts from the new friends I’ve made:
- Armor set from the Genetic MVP killer I met earlier (I haven’t seen him much recently, maybe due to the frequent downtime… wonder if he’s ok)
- A new Crescent Scythe from an Alchemist I met down in Orc Dungeon leveling his Filir, who has an awesome Ranger (he showed me how powerful in PvM his toon is, with Arrow Storm and Warg Strike complemented with Ifrit ring set effects.) Later paid him some zeny I made from dungeon loots and stem farming, to help him get a pair of White Wing boots.
Almost 70/30 here, but today some folks broke bloody branches in Orc Dungeon. Saw at least 3 MVPs: Gloom Under Night, Memory of Thanatos, and Beelzebub. Watched a team of Rune Knight, Archbishop, Maestro, and Sura take them on…
My second card, found after mobbing so many of them zombies! Been leveling here since the job change, as there are more mobs here due to alchemists and other low-level classes leveling.

Soon this toon will be leveling some more at Orc Dungeon, moving downstairs to hunt Zenorcs (but beware the Alchemists leveling their new homunculi there.) But may later; I’ll be playing a bit of KoL leveling my newly-made Seal Clubber…
Job 50, finally! Thanks to everyone and everything that helped:
- That Blacksmith who sold his Fortune Sword earlier instead of letting it rot in his storage (along with some Oridecon and a Hellfire ;)
- Those SP recovery items (Strawberries, Grapes, Honey) this toon had to farm from Yoyos (as for some reason there isn’t much of a market for those stuffs in Ymir)
- That Genetic who supported a bit (and got to watch this toon go 50 in Orc Dungeon)
Off to Prontera Church for the exam and final test to become a Crusader!
… and there goes my 1 million Zeny :P
That Fortune Sword made good though, this toon finally got through the Crusader endurance test. Time to take that exam and the battle those undead, but he’ll have to wait until job 50 as swordie before changing…
Cashing in on stems, snail shells, and bee stings. Too bad this money won’t stay too long though…
The Bifrost sandwiches came from the Genetic who killed Orc Lord earlier, bless him :)
